Waiting Game

We pulled into Gramma Mary and Grandpa Tim's place on Monday, February 27th.  Unloaded an appallingly large amount of items from our van, tucked them in various places throughout the house and then spent the week waiting for Clancy to make an appearance.

Much of the week was normal:  oats for breakfast,

coloring at the dining table,

self-portraits in the mirror,

wrestling with Gramps on the couch,

snuggling with Grandma after getting some ice for an owie,

and just generally adjusting to life and snow in North Dakota.

The most exciting event of the week, besides getting to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa, was getting to stay at Joe's sister's place in Fargo.  Tuesday night a blizzard was predicted to hit the area and we didn't want to be stuck at the farm in labor and giving birth in the middle of a blizzard, so we stayed in town, a few blocks from the hospital and enjoyed the company of Joe's sister's family.  The predicted snow storm dumped a measly few inches on the Fargo area.
