Staged

In March I found myself on stage again.  Not the kind of stage work I used to perform in college when I played the oboe, but rather that involving a resurrected coupon talk.  My first appearance was during a torrential downpour.  Our MOPS group hosted about thirty-five ladies from the church, MOPS group and community for an evening of training in scoring deals.  The following Tuesday morning I shared the talk all over again with a neighboring MOPS group who was evidently desperate for speakers.  Both talks were fun, exhausting, and exhilarating.

Speaking of being on stage, what do you think of our staged photo?  In case you're wondering, it's very true to life.  Rian (the girl with her hand up) really did ask lots of questions (okay not that many, but a few), I really did use that box of Triscuits as a visual aid, and I also used that remote control to change my slides on the powerpoint.  I'm almost positive that Anna (on the left) was smiling like that the entire talk, too.

  1. I'm so glad you got to do this again Trisha! Somehow I have a feeling it will not be the last time. :) Wish I could've been in the audience. I thought of you recently when I learned about a couponing show on TLC. You can check it out here: http://www.blogher.com/sneak-peak-tlcs-new-extreme-couponing-series
