Even for the Youngest

Glendalough State Park in Minnesota was the home of our first camping trip since our days on Assateague Island back in 2011.  We made this trip last August with the Hermunslie cousins and Grandma Mary and Grandpa Tim.  It was our first time camping with all six of our kids and Isaiah definitely wins the youngest camper award for our family, at just under two months.

We stayed on a group campsite that had a stream where the kids played.

We enjoyed meals around the campfire,

Evie, Theia, Xandra

At the close of our first day, our good friend, Mr. David joined us for a night of camping adventure.

I'm pretty sure setting up his tent has never been so complicated.

Thanks to his seven helpers.

Just before dusk, Grandpa Tim came buzzing by

in his powered paraglider.

The whole day was all very exciting

but also pretty exhausting

for even the youngest among us.
