In Review, Part 3

2011
2011 brought this special lady, and next door neighbor, to our house frequently.  What a gift and blessing she is to our whole clan.

Along with many visits with Ms. Carol came camping at Assateague Island and a triathalon for Joe,

and a tour of Mt. Vernon with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Tim,

a five year old and a fantastic tea party following a week of the stomach flu,

an all church retreat on Joey's first birthday (we missed the year's prior, as we delivered Joey Saturday morning of the retreat),

Sara Groves in concert!

with these fantastic ladies,

our first annual run at the track,

our last Autumn Applelooza,

three little kittens and one sneaky little brother,

the last day of life before braces,

Richmond Virginia for a marathon
(one of Joe's toughest marathons and a very difficult weekend generally),

the painting of the Red Wall of China

and friends who helped prep our house for selling,

our last Maryland Thanksgiving,

and staying in Maryland for Christmas (a first/last),
we cut down our own tree and Grandpa Tim and Grandma Mary came for a visit instead of us visiting them for the holidays.

2012
2012 was a year of change.  Before the big changes, we celebrated Theia's birthday and our departure from Maryland with this slumber party.

We said goodbye to Joe's scooter,

Abraham Lincoln,

our first home,

lots of friends and our favorite neighbor.

We loaded the car, after we loaded the truck,

and drove 3 days to Colfax, ND.
Four days after our arrival, Ms. Tikvah Elise joined the family.

to be continued
