Holiday Cheer

Christmas 2013 looked like this:

making a few treats with the kids

 

when I wasn't making treats for the kids.

Christmas dinner on the 20th at our house

 

 so we could enjoy with our extended families later,

four girls on a couch ready to

light the fire

listen to the Christmas story, a Christmas song,

and get on with opening presents,

 

youngest first.

A few present highlights included:  Joey's 2 year old ABC book,

 

Aliyah and Joey's "big" blankies

a baby Pillow Pet for Theia,

crayon Thermoses (much like a crayon cup Joe had when he was a kid)

and our annual cup of post-present holiday cheer enjoyed out of doors,

 

in balmy zero degree weather.
