At the end of August, just before Xandra's birthday and the start of school, we had a visit from my dear friend, Christa, and her boys. We had lots of adventures in our days together and one highlight was visiting the Dakota Zoo.
We saw some caged animals (we brought the uncaged kind with us), had some lunch,
stopped for some ready made photo ops,
and held some real, live, although possibly almost dead, especially after we left, butterflies.
