When They Come

Grandma Mary & Grandpa Tim were here for a visit in July.  When they come, the girls are pampered

with nail polish and braids

and read to for long stretches.

The adults play lots of Scrabble and Whist.

while the kids pretend nap on the couch. 

 because Grandpa Tim bribed them with "naptime licorice."

When they come, Joe doesn't do much of this,

because they can't keep away from wrestling

and playing with Grandpa for too long.

When they come, everyone builds block towers with Grandma.

and pig piles on grandpa.

It's just

so much fun

when they

come!
