The first weekend in October meant a(nother) move for us. The Lord blessed us with a beautiful rental in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that provides a nice neighborhood, reasonable commute for Joe
and a beautiful, fenced backyard for the kids.
This yard with it's happy little bridge,
large maple and beautiful landscaping reminds me so much of our yard in Maryland.

The landlord even left a plot of land for us to garden.
These beauties hanging over the back of our fence were another welcome sight.
A reminder that God's gifts are found in big things like reuniting families, good jobs and beautiful houses
and the simplicity of a flower hanging over a backyard fence.
