Me Too

Having Joe living across the state made Father's Day both easy to plan and tough to execute.  Despite their desires, we kept the girls home from Sunday School and enjoyed some daddy time wrastling,

showering him with homemade cards,

and a present.

We surprised him with a popcorn popper because since we'd been living with Grandma and Grandpa, we'd adopted the tradition of having Sunday night popcorn before he returned to Bismarck for the week.

Everyone helped open it.

I think they were secretly hoping we'd have popcorn right then, at 9:30 in the morning.

Then they harassed him while he read the directions

and finally all gathered around for a group shot.

He's a good daddy and they sure love him lots because of it.

Me too.

  1. This picture reminds me of ET, when ET is hiding in the closet amongst all the dolls/stuffed animals...or Where's Waldo! Hee hee! What a lucky man to be surrounded by all that love :-)
