Christa and her boys left Saturday morning, but not before we grabbed a few pictures of the whole crew.
Christa and her boys left, but not before we got a picture of the two of us.
Christa and her boys left, but not before:
1. We headed to Wal-Mart late one night in search of Kettle Corn (the stuff made by Barrel O Fun, it's soooo good. If you've never had it, you should try it. Buy a bag today, you won't regret it!), only to find NONE on the shelf. We had to buy an inferior brand. We polished off the bag of the inferior brand, but it still wasn't as good as the Barrel O Fun stuff.
2. We stayed up after said Wal-Mart run making gak that wasn't quite right.
3. We stayed up another 45 minutes after the gak making to haul an 8 foot ladder in the from the garage, replace batteries on a smoke alarm 12 feet in the air that wasn't actually beeping (it turns out it was the carbon monoxide detector at eye level in the hallway next to the thermostat. Sheepish grin).
4. We stayed up waaaaay too late every night she was here talking, commiserating, solving the world's problems and a few of our own, too.
5. I dropped an entire pizza onto the bottom of the oven because I couldn't dislodge it from the oven rack and then we proceeded to eat said pizza anyway.
6. I introduced Christa to Dorothy Lynch salad dressing. Yum. If you live in the midwest and you haven't tried it, put it on your grocery list. Buy it. You won't regret it (unless of course you don't like french/poppyseed dressing like Joe. Then you will surely regret it).
7. We had a grand old time, with and without our kids.
Thanks for visiting friend!
You look awesome, Trisha! Have you been running marathons or something?
