After a day of rest on Thursday, I left the girls with grandma, eating banana Mickey Mouse pancakes, and drove a few hours to visit with a friend.
Christa, her two boys, Andrew and Zach, and I enjoyed lunch and a visit to a local family farm.
While Christa and I visited, the boys enjoyed a small (very small) petting zoo, trampoline, maze, and play structures.
After our visit to the farm, we enjoyed some ice cream before heading our separate ways for the evening. Andrew and Zach were delightful and the time with Christa was far too short, yet much appreciated. I'm pretty sure my girls didn't miss me at all, as they were soaking up all the grandma time they could get.
