Eating Mudpies

A few weekends ago we made our final trip to pick up free firewood for next winter. All the girls came along and when we returned home we let them play in the yard while we stacked the wood. Aliyah climbed from our porch out into the side yard where she happily sat playing with rocks, plants, and dirt.

She liked the dirt so much, she thought she'd eat it. This is how we found her:

Instead of cleaning her up like good parents, we continued to let her eat the dirt while we ran for the camera. Don't worry, her teeth only stayed black for a few hours.
